1978, as Ekologia rondo Esperantista (ERE). Transformed and present name and statutes adopted, Feb 1986, at establishing conference. Statutes amended: Aug 1986; Aug 1987.

Promote international exchange on nature conservation using the language Esperanto; cooperate with national and international movements for protection of nature, environment, peace and cultural values.
