The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

1969
History
1969, as Universal World Harmony, through the merger of the 'Universal Link' and the 'Red House Group', to forward the progressive side of Remembrance Day ceremonies. 1976, name changed to Universal World Harmony - World Council of Service (UWH/WCS) -- Harmonie mondiale universelle - Conseil mondial du service (HMU/CMS). 1987, present name adopted.
Aims
Develop human unity in a world society based on natural organic evolution relative to human requirements and born out of a concept of God Being on earth; bring together delegates from serving organizations in all parts of the world to share their ideas and ideals and discover how they can assist each other's purposes.
