Help strengthening the Latin American cinema, in particular the newly emerging cinematographies, by promoting its production, distribution, and exhibition; foster research, teaching, conservation, maintenance of film, archives and cultural dissemination of the Latin American cinematographic work; further a growing and effective solidarity within the Latin American cinematography in the framework of the preservation of the cultural heritage of Latin American peoples, as well as their dignity and social justice.
