9 Nov 1972, Brussels (Belgium), as European Club of Overseas Fruit and Vegetables Importers -- Club européen des importateurs de fruits et légumes d'outre-mer -- Europäischer Club der Importeure von Obst und Gemüse aus Übersee. Statutes amended 29 May 1975. New name, Confederation of Importers and Marketing Organizations in Europe of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, adopted and Statutes amended 24 Apr 1980. Present name adopted, 1995. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Merged with H-XD3341 - European Union of the Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale, Import and Export Trade to form D-XD8866 - European Fresh Produce Association (FRESHFEL Europe), Jan 2002.
