Founded 1983, Luxembourg. Previously also known under the titles: Association européenne des parents d'élèves -- Asociación Europea de Padres -- Europäische Eltern Organisation -- Associazione Genitori d'Europa -- Europese Oudervereniging. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.
Promote collaboration between schools and parents' associations, enhancing the partnership between families and schools; support recognition for parents as primary educators of their children and the need for their active involvement at all stages of their children's education; advance parents' associations in the different countries; share good practices between parents' associations; coordinate various organizations of parents' associations; represent parents at the European level primarily in educational matters.
