The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

1970, Brussels (Belgium), when Liaison Bureau was set up. 1st Congress: 25 Mar 1972, Luxembourg. Previous organization of the same name became well-known to the public in 1948, when it burnt down a number of frontier posts in Europe. An international JEF structure was set up, 2 Feb 1950, Paris (France), but did not survive the split of Federalist movements in 1956. Between 1955 and 1972 JEF sections existed in a number of countries but without an international structure. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Previously also referred to in French as Jeunesse européenne fédéraliste and in German as Bund Europäischer Jugend. EU Transparency Register: 22158552884-38.

Create a democratic European federation as a guarantee for peace and a more free, just and democratic society; foster European citizenship; widen and deepen the EU; bring Europe closer to the citizens.
