Aims

Provide high quality engineering education in Europe; encourage the training of engineers with broader educational experience; increase the awareness of engineering graduates to the specific needs and opportunities of future European industrial and economic cooperation; maintain the advantageous diversity and the standards of the highest levels of engineering education in Europe; secure international validation and acceptance of the qualification of university educated engineers; promote collaboration in engineering education, research and development between leading European universities.

Activities

Maintains consultations between the members on a regular basis concerning the aims of the Conference. Develops and implements programmes of multinational engineering education at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels. Cooperates with European and national governmental institutions, agencies and other university networks. Working groups (3): Bologna and academic engineering education; Accreditation of engineering curricula; PhD in Engineering.
