Europe's Children - Our Concern (ECOC)
1993, as European Children in Crisis - for Children with Learning Difficulties (ECIC). Registered in accordance with Belgian law. A voluntary organization which helps children and young people with learning difficulties living within Europe. Present name adopted Jun 2001. Ceased to exist prior to 2012, when merged into Belgian branch of F-XF4989 - People to People International (PTPI).
Offer support and information on a European scale to children with learning difficulties and special educational needs; achieve mutual recognition of learning concessions for children with learning disabilities; obtain transfer of rights, social and educational, when moving from one member state to another; provide service to children, parents, teachers and headmasters by assisting them in many ways, including information, training and support.
