Founded 1992, as International Plasma Products Industry Association (IPPIA). European division set up, Jan 1994, Brussels (Belgium), with title European Association of the Plasma Products Industry (EAPPI). Current title adopted when EAPPI and IPPIA merged, 2000. Merged with American Blood Resources Association (ABRA), 2002.
Promote the availability of and access to safe and effective plasma protein therapeutics for all patients in the world.
