Present name adopted 13 Apr 2003.
Promote and encourage the sport of casting throughout the World in conformity with Olympic principles; follow and lead the evaluation of casting sport; frame and interpret ICF Rules and Regulations; promote and sanction international competitions in bait, fly and surf-casting activities.
