Aims
Serve the cause of liberty and cooperation among peoples, thus contributing to a fair and lasting peace by developing and disseminating the lessons learnt from life in captivity, in particular the strong attachment to individual and collective freedom of thought and expression, the feeling of interdependence and respect for the dignity of man; encourage and coordinate, at the individual and collective level, mutual social assistance and international solidarity of prisoners of war.
