History
Founded 1961, Paris (France), in succession to a 'Comité d'entente' set up after World War II. Previously also referred to in French as Fédération européenne des vétérans de guerre.
Aims
Group associations of veterans and victims of the war in order to cooperate for preserving peace and ensuring the improvement of their living conditions; promote the idea of a united Europe; defend fundamental human rights; favour European solidarity and defend Western civilization; combat false and tendentious information as well as actions opposed to the unity of veterans serving Europe.
