1988, following a 1985 decision of the General Assembly of D-XD4543 - Union of Arab Banks (UAB). One of the organizations for Joint Arab Action, owned by D-XD2903 - League of Arab States (LAS). Previously also referred to as Arab Academy of Banking and Financial Studies.
Encourage human resources development, particularly in regards to the banking and financial sectors in the Arab world; provide education and training which meets the needs of our students and their employers; offer consultation; develop, enhance and sponsor specialized research; shape policy and practice within areas of expertise; embody a convergence of education and applied professional involvement in the areas of finance and banking on a pan-Arab scale.
