26 Sep 1960, Haarlem (Netherlands), as European Association of Direct Mail Houses (EUROPADRESS). New Statutes and listed name adopted Apr 1977, Montreux (Switzerland). Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Ceased to exist, 1997, when merged with H-XD0824 - Federation of European Direct Marketing (FEDIM) to form D-XD6263 - Federation of European Direct and Interactive Marketing (FEDMA).
Promote internationally the concept of direct marketing; represent the direct marketing industry in the EC; exchange experience, knowhow and ideas, thus acting as an information forum; further and deepen business relations between members; support endeavours of existing associations to harmonize relations with public and consumer organizations and authorities; strive for close relations between national direct marketing associations.
