The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
History
in the 1950s, by right-wing senior politicians, diplomats and intelligence agents. Initially set up to unite Franco-German relations as a buffer to Soviet aggression during the Cold War, although current remit much wider. Originally referred to as Pinay Circle after first chairman, former French Prime Minister Antoine Pinay.
Aims
Provide a confidential forum for discussion - focusing on foreign affairs and international security - among right wing senior politicians, diplomats, business men, polemicists, personnel of diplomatic and security services and intelligence agents.
