Changed name to Union européenne du commerce des pommes de terre (EUROPATAT) -- European Union of the Potato Trade -- Unión Europea del Comercio de Patatas -- Europäische Union des Kartoffelshandels, 5 Jun 2003, Ostend (Belgium), when statutes adopted. Current statutes adopted, 2010, Edinburgh (UK), when registered in accordance with Belgian law. EU Transparency Register: 16057181340-75.
Protect the interests of wholesale potato merchants, in particular: develop international commercial activity in wholesale potato trading; protect professional and commercial interests on both European and international levels; represent the profession within official and international organizations; define common policy to further technical and commercial advancement of all traders and with particular emphasis on maintaining free trade in potatoes.
