Aims

Mobilize international support for the 3 most vulnerable groups of countries (LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS) and ensure the effective coordination, monitoring and review of the implementation of the Brussels Programme of Action, adopted May 2001, and the Almaty Programmes of Action, adopted Aug 2003.

Advocates for, mobilizes international support and resources and monitors the implementation of the Brussels Programme of Action (2001) for the Least Developed Countries; ensures the full and effective implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action (2003) for addressing the needs of the Landlocked Developing Countries; advocates for and mobilizes international support and resources for the implementation of the Mauritius Strategy and Barbados Programme of Action (1994) for Small Island Developing States.
