Founded 1930, as 'National Newspaper Promotion Association'. Subsequent name changes: 1969, International Newspaper Promotion Association; 1987, International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA); 2008, International Newsmedia Marketing Association (INMA). Present name adopted, 2012.

Serve as a provider of global best practices for news media companies looking to grow revenue, audience and brand amid profound market change through sharing global best practices, spotting of trends, commonalities and outliers, identifying new business model opportunities, and rewarding new ways of building brand and corporate value.
