Established 18 Jul 1978, Washington DC (USA), on entry into force of the T-XT6916 - Inter-American Convention on Human Rights (Pact of San José de Costa Rica) - Pact of San José, Costa Rica – Pacto de San José de Costa Rica - signed 22 Nov 1969. An autonomous judicial institution of the D-XD3030 - OAS. Previously also known under the acronym CIDH.
