The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Aug 1992, as Association des techniciens et ingénieurs sanitaires en Afrique (ATISA). Reactivated and launched Feb 1995, under the present name. Permanent Secretariat originally lay with Water and Sanitation for Africa (WSA).

Aims

Promote the field of hygiene, water and environment and the management of liquid and solid waste in all the African countries.
