12 Apr 1968, Paris (France), as Association internationale d'onirothérapie, by a small group of practitioners of psychotherapeutic health imagery techniques. Name changed, 21 June 1968, to International Society for Mental Imagery Techniques -- Société internationale des techniques d'imagerie mentale (SITIM) -- Sociedade Internacional das Técnicas de Imagerie Mentale -- Società Internazionale per le Tecniche d'Imagerie Mentale. Statutes most recently modified 24 Oct 1998. Registered in accordance with French law.
