On 1 Jan 2001, merged with U-XN2237 - Flemish Organization for Assistance in Development (FADO). Subsequently re-adopted original name. Abroad known as VECO - VredesEilanden Country Offices. Since Sep 2017, restructured into an international organization under current title. Rikolto is Esperanto for 'Harvest'.
