History
Established 27 Feb 1967, as West Indies Associated States Supreme Court, by the West Indies Associated States Supreme Court Order (1967 No 223), which has been incorporated into and forms part of the Constitution of all Independent States of D-XF4346 - Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), and has also been given jurisdiction in the Overseas Territories by the Supreme Court Acts and the Constitutions, in some cases, of those Territories.

Provide access to a system of justice that is accountable and independent, and administered by officers in a prompt, fair, efficient and effective manner.

Levels (2): 'High Court', currently comprising 23 judges and 4 Masters, operating in 3 Divisions (Criminal; Civil; Family); 'Court of Appeal', functioning as an itinerant Court sitting in various territories on a regular basis and comprising President and 7 Justices of Appeal. Chief Justice is Head of Court and President of Court of Appeal. Jurisdiction runs through all territories. Commercial Division set up and based at Virgin Is UK.
