Nov 1998 as an informal forum. Ceased to exist prior to 2001 and functions largely taken over by (US) Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and European Association for Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosomatics (EACLPP).
Serve as an umbrella organization for all psychiatrists and physicians who specialize in clinical work, teaching and research at the medical/psychiatry interface; facilitate development of the field in all parts of the world, drawing on existing expertise and regional experience, as well as on the experience of existing organizations.Available with paid subscription only.
