Promote international cooperation in the field of research and showing of film masterpieces, old or recent, of recognized quality and destined to make up experimental and art film programmes, as agreed by the Confederation or its national federations; encourage national and international authorities to recognize art cinema; promote cultural activities to widen the audience for such cinema.
