1975, Jeddah, as Islamic States Broadcasting Organization (ISBO) -- Organisation de radiodiffusion des Etats islamiques, in accordance with a resolution adopted by 6th K-XF4192 - Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), 12-15 Jul 1975, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). A Specialized Organ of C-XC4129 - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Propagate the principles of the Islamic Da'wa; acquaint people with the cause of Islam and ensure its defence; strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among the Muslim people; explain the political, social and economic basis of Islamic solidarity; develop cooperation between Islamic technical organizations and institutions of Member States engaged in the field of radio and television; promote teaching of the Arabic language using audiovisual aids.
