Aims
Serve as a site to enshrine and preserve the memory of 6 million Jews annihilated and communities destroyed by Nazi Germany and pay tribute to the survivors of the Holocaust; act as a memorial on the subject of the Holocaust, maintaining archives, research and education faculties and museums; perpetuate the memory of non-Jews who for humanitarian reasons risked their lives to save Jews; teach history of and promote research on the Holocaust.
