The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
History
by 'Lower Saxony Agency for Technology Transfer and Innovation -- Niedersächsische Agentur für Technologietransfer und Innovation (NATI)' of the government of Lower Saxony (Germany). Previously also referred to as European Cooperation Network on Technology Transfer in its function as a network within U-XF2737 - Regions and Cities of Europe (RECITE Programme). Ceased to exist.
Aims
Encourage regional economic development through promotion of intra-regional cooperation among the various economic agents of the partner European regions, and inter-regional economic cooperation among partner regions. Enable SMEs in partner regions to meet increasing competition and internationalization in the market for advanced technologies by: monitoring markets more efficiently; responding more rapidly to market changes; achieving greater production flexibility; becoming more cost-efficient; developing more innovative, market-tailored technology products.
