Union of International Associations (UIA) Round Table Asia-Pacific goes virtual – hosted and powered by Seoul Tourism Organization
UIA’s 8th Associations Round Table Asia-Pacific on 17 & 18 September 2020 will take place in a virtual meeting space set in Seoul
In its 14th year of organizing Round Tables for international associations, this will be the first time UIA will hold the event in a fully virtual format.
The programme of this UIA Associations Round Table will address topics of immediate interest and relevance for associations, such as working with remote teams, finding the ideal destination for an event, association business model innovation, mobilizing resources, achieving goals and finding partners. A keynote speech from the UIA President on the UN’s 75th Anniversary will also be part of the programme.

Finland's congress calendar is full of exciting association meetings and congresses in 2024.
In the latest UIA ranking of the most popular congress destinations, Finland ranks number 13 in the global comparison. Finland continues to draw international associations to hold their congresses, and 2024 promises to be another successful year.
Leading scientific conference on imaging to land in Tampere, Finland in autumn 2026
The annual IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) will be held in Tampere on 13–17 September 2026. The event will bring to Tampere more than a thousand international experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in the fields of image and video processing and computer vision.
In 2023, the MICE city of Busan was able to attract and host various global MICE events, allowing it to grow into a world-renowned MICE destination. For example, the city secured the opportunity to host the Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) Annual Conference 2025 and World Statistics Congress (WSC) 2027, and successfully hosted the 20th International Microscopy Congress (IMC20), in addition to a number of other major MICE events.
