Founded following the activities of the RIPE Initiative (Re-invigorating the Public Interest in Media), founded in 1999. RIPE activities will continue, supported by the IAPMR.
Aims
Advance contemporary theory and actionable research to clarify, support and facilitate the development of Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) and Public Service Media (PSM) as a vital requirement to safeguard democratic interests and practices in the 21st century.
