History

First ERNs launched Mar 2017, as virtual networks involving healthcare providers across Europe. Process and criteria for establishing an ERN set in F-XF2147 - European Union (EU) legislation.

Aims

Facilitate discussion on complex or rare diseases and conditions that require highly specialised treatment, and concentrated knowledge and resources.
