Originated in U-XE2247 - Vézelay Group, set up 1987. Developed out of Forum on Ethics and Responsibility, within F-XF3029 - Fondation Charles Léopold Mayer pour le progrès de l'homme (FPH), founded 2002. Became an independent organization under current title, 2015.

Catalyze responsibility as a theme for transitions to low carbon economies involving renewable energy, wealth sharing, and people taking care of the planet.
