The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

1969

History

1969, as Association of International Bond Dealers (AIBD) -- Association des courtiers internationaux en obligations. Incorporated under Articles 60-79 of the Swiss Civil Code. New name adopted May 1991, effective 1 Jan 1992. Statutes last amended 1 Jun 1995. 1 Jul 2005, merged with H-XD0298 - International Primary Market Association (IPMA) to become D-XM0737 - International Capital Market Association (ICMA).

Aims

Promote good relations among members and provide a basis for joint examination and discussion of questions relating to the international securities markets, issuing and enforcing rules and making recommendations governing their operations; provide services and assistance to participants in international securities markets.

Council and Committee of reporting dealers; Education committee; Market practices committee. Sub-committees as required.
