The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Founded 29 May 1980, Mexico City (Mexico). Registered in accordance with Mexican law. As of 2016, assumed ceased to exist.

Aims

Group all publishers legally existing in the Latin-American area, Spain and Latin USA; promote art and cultural exchange between Latin-American knowledge; represent members before governments collaborating with them as a consultant entity; disseminate technical information to its members; participate in international events, directly or indirectly related to Music Publishers and/or their activities; act as a neutral party to help working out conflicts that may arise between its members or between the members and third parties.
