Jan 1996, by E-XE3376 - United Nations Security Council (UNSC), following termination of the mandate of U-XF3706 - United Nations Confidence Restoration Operation in Croatia (UNCRO). One of the United Nations Peace-keeping Operations, within F-XF1000 - United Nations System, in the framework of A-XA3375 - United Nations (UN). Terminated, 15 Dec 2002, on completion of mandate.
Aims
Monitor the demilitarization of the Prevlaka peninsula and the surrounding areas in Yugoslavia and Croatia.
Structure
Chief Military Observer reports directly to UN Headquarters, New York NY (USA).
