History

1987, under the auspices of E-XE2442 - European Commission (EC), D-XD0814 - European Movement International (EMI) and F-XF0667 - European Parliament (EP). In English also referred to as Women of Europe Prize. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.

Aims

Stimulate participation of women in development of the European Union; promote their engagement in political, economic and social life and make their presence felt; create a network of women who are high achievers in different sectors of national political, economic and social life; be responsible for the award at national level.
