10 Apr 1959, Brussels (Belgium). Original acronym: CECMA. Also referred to as European Committee of Manufacturers of Air Handling Equipment. Current acronym adopted, 1964. Ceased to exist, June 1996, when merged with European Committee of Manufacturers of Refrigeration Equipment (CECOMAF) to form Eurovent.


Facilitate at the European level closer ties between companies of the profession; promote exchanges among European manufacturers; contribute to improvement in marketing conditions and the general development of the profession.
