Conduct research on development problems and processes, experiment with planning methods, develop techniques of evaluation which give accurate feedbacks on the nature and type of changes taking place in society; teach and train participants about the problems and processes of development, impart skills to them on the methods and techniques of planning, implementation, administration and evaluation; help governments, agencies and other public bodies by training their personnel, carrying out pilot projects for them, conducting research in the areas of public policy and decision-making, and giving them correct and accurate feedback; enter into contracts with individuals, firms, companies, societies, institutions, agencies, governments and NGOs in India and abroad which further the objectives of CDSA.Available with paid subscription only.
Activities are organized in 4 entities: School of Development Planning (SDP); Institute for Rural Development (IRD); Institute for Habitat and Environment (IHE); Barbara Ward Library and Documentation Centre (BWLDC).
