Founded as a sector group of D-XD0615 - Conseil européen de l'industrie chimique (CEFIC). Currently operates as a Sector Group within D-XD0052 - Association of Plastics Manufacturers in Europe (Plastics Europe).
Make known to authorities, industry and the general public the economic and social role of extruded polystyrene insulation board; study the use and applications of products covered, in particular from the viewpoint of protection of the environment, health and safety and product end-of-life; examine legislation which affects the industry, such as CFC phase out.
