Focus on socio-economically disadvantaged regions and regions suffering from lack of resources or potential for survival; further understanding of the spatial character of marginality, the spatial dynamics of marginalization and the development process of critical regions.Available with paid subscription only.
Currently focuses on implications of globalization and deregulation on regions which are economically marginal and environmentally critical and on how these processes will lead to regional disparities and thus increase marginalization.
