The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).


1963, by Hydraulic Resources and Electric Subcommittee (SCERH), a subsidiary body of the Central American Economic Cooperation Committee (CCE). Secretary of GRIE corresponds to United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Ceased to exist.


Promote and support the integration of all Central American electrical systems.

Central American Isthmus Regional Interconnection Studies (ERICA), financed by Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Studies and activities directed towards the expansion and improvement of the existing system interconnection, by means of the Electrical Sub-sector of Central American Isthmus Regional Activities Program (PARSEICA), financed by a non reimbursable technical cooperation from IDB.
