The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Statutes adopted 23 Apr 1994, Odense (Denmark). Current statutes adopted June 1997, Limerick (Ireland).

Aims

Encourage high standards of health care provision; create an international network dedicated to health care professionals in order to promote contacts and an exchange of knowledge and experience between them; take active part in the construction of a European standard of health care; become a recognized consultative partner to European organizations concerned with health care on national and international levels.

Organizes: training sessions in technical matters; exchanges, including through 'Hope Exchange Programme' of HCEC and the Seminar Programme; with HOPE, AGORA Conferences. Disseminates information about European hospitals and health organizations.
