Founded 2004, Brisbane (Australia) during International Crop Science Congress, Australia. The concept of the Society began at the 1996 Congress in India where it was proposed and discussed, and was approved by the delegates at the 2000 Congress in Germany.
Facilitate research, education and information exchange on the sustainable production of sufficient quality and quantity of crop products to meet the food and industrial feedstock needs of humankind.
