Founded when officially incorporated, having previously existed unincorporated as Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists (FAOB), founded 1 Aug 1972, and later as Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biology. Statutes most recently amended 4 Dec 2016, Manilla (Philippines).
Promote the science of biochemistry and molecular biology, including education, research and their applications worldwide, and in particular in the Asian and Oceanian region.
