5 Nov 1965, Geneva (Switzerland), when Statutes were adopted, by: International Committee of the Red Cross; International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (in 1965: League of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies); the Swiss Red Cross. Statutes modified: 10 Oct 1966; 19 Nov 1975; 29 Jun 1983; 25 Jun 1993. Ceased to exist 1999.
Aims
Contribute to strengthening Red Cross unity and universality by making available to members the ways and means of carrying out studies and research, training and instruction in all branches of Red Cross activity.
