The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

3 Oct 2001. Part of European Division of International Association of Public Transport (UITP). As of 2006 ceased to exist.

Aims

Prepare UITP members from European Union acceding countries and potential acceding candidate countries for the integration into the European Union; act as a centre of knowledge and platform for exchange and discussion of the common issues members from these countries are facing.
