The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

3 Nov 1989, as European Association of Public Relations Students (CERP Students), within the framework of European Public Relations Confederation (CERP), until June 2004, when it became independent and adopted its current title.

Aims

Exchange information and experiences between European PR students; match different PR professional approaches as expression of the new European market; establish and improve contacts with educational institutes, associations and organizations, active in the field of PR; contribute to future careers as PR professionals in Europe; encourage professional and cultural exchange and understanding between European fellow students; promote PR as a profession and increase awareness about it; combine theory and practice and gain a deeper insight into specific themes.

Organizes: international congresses (spring, summer, autumn); various local seminars, lectures, workshops and other projects; internships abroad; Young European PR Professional Programme (YEPP Programme) for former students; online discussion forum.
