28 Jun 1990, The Hague (Netherlands), the Terms of Reference having been negotiated in 1985-1986 by the UN Conference on Nickel. Secretariat established in early 1991.
Promote international cooperation on issues concerning nickel, especially by improving statistics and other information on the nickel market and by providing a forum for members to discuss nickel issues of common interest and concern.
