Coordinated by ROSTSEA. Sponsoring organizations: ROSTSEA; D-XD6501 - Association for Engineering Education in Southeast Asia and the Pacific (AEESEAP); D-XD7064 - Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP).

Aims

Promote and support activities, including research, bearing directly on development needs of the region; provide feedback to training programmes through inclusion of results of research and development carried out in the region; strengthen working linkages among engineers and technicians in teaching, research, industry and administration; emphasize role of technology in meeting needs of rural and low-income people; emphasize special potential of high technology in development of countries in the region.
