History
1976, as successor to U-XE0144 - Committee for the Common Market Countries of the International Union of Associations of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Equipment Contractors. Registered in accordance with Belgian law, 1998.
Aims
Promote technical contractors, especially in the field of energy efficiency services represented by member associations at an international, particularly European, level and ensure their professional representation with European Community bodies; consider contractual rules and regulations in the interest of the professions represented and propose them to Community authorities and other partners; reach agreement with bodies representing other professions in the industry so as to ensure equitable contractual arrangements and good relations among the parties concerned.
